Is a coop of 30+ families who have been farming Agave for over 200 years.
Banhez was recognized by the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) as Best Mezcal and awarded a Double Gold Medal 2017.
Banhez tobalá is comprised of 100% tobalá agave, a revered species due to its scarcity, small physical size and growing period of up to 30 years. Known for its intense aromatics and smooth flavor profile, tasting notes consist of green mango, leather, and fresh green herbs.
Pechuga Espadin is the varietal. Considered the celebration mezcal, weddings etc.. Made by suspending seasonal fruits and a turkey breast over each copper pot distillery.
