Is a coop of 30+ families who have been farming Agave for over 200 years.
Banhez was recognized by the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) as Best Mezcal and awarded a Double Gold Medal 2017.

Banhez tepeztate is comprised of 100% tepeztate agave, a unique species that can take up to 25 years to mature. Banhez tepeztate presents flavors rich in smoke and terroir driven earthiness, with a green pepper vegetal nose, so green apple fruitiness, and notes of citrus zest.
